I was always that (maybe weird) kid that sang the songs and slogans from my favorite commercials. Perhaps it was a sign of things to come for this future advertiser. While working at the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast, I had the honor of creating some fun — and successful — TV commercials.

YMCA – January 2013 Membership Campaign
For both of these commercials, I served on the creative team for idea concept and script writing. For filming, I was the Director of Photography and a lighting assistant. (I’m also the voice of the annoying fitness instructor in the second commercial.) This particular campaign set unprecedented membership joins for our Y association.

YMCA Facebook Campaign
In addition to serving on the creative team for idea development, our social media growth jumped 1,000 likes, getting us to 5,000 likes at the time. Upon leaving the Y, we were at 11,200+ likes — THE largest YMCA Facebook following in the nation.
Fun fact: That’s my thumb telling your friends to “like” your photo.
